Position: Floor Cleaner
Location: Port Hawkesbury (1 Position)
Hours: Mornings
(MUST BE FLEXIBLE)
Salary: $18.50/hr
Duties of Floor Cleaning Staff
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, paying special attention to details, such as, corners, edges, underneath mats and baseboards.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Service restrooms - clean and resupply.
- Ensure that machines and equipment are cleaned at the end of shift.
- Follow recommended practices procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors.
- Conduct pre-use inspections of all electrical or propane powered equipment to ensure that potential hazards are identified.
- Maintain janitorial storage closet in a neat and organised manner
